PDFDocFlip ("we", "us") provides online PDF conversion and editing tools at pdfdocflip.com. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Files you upload for conversion, merging, editing, or any other tool are processed automatically and stored temporarily on our servers only for as long as needed to complete your download — at most one hour, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. We do not view, share, sell, or use your files for any purpose other than performing the action you requested. For Organize PDF, page previews are rendered entirely in your own browser; the file is only sent to our server when you save.
Creating an account is optional and only needed for a monthly subscription. If you register, we store your email address and either a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text) or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google. We also store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs to manage billing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly and securely.
If you choose to email yourself a backup download link, we use the email address you provide only to send that one link. We don't add you to a mailing list or contact you for any other reason.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in (if you have an account) and to track your free daily conversion, even as a guest. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand site usage and measure ad performance; these set their own cookies, described in Google's Privacy Policy.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us (see below). We don't have a self-service account deletion button yet — email us and we'll handle it manually.
PDFDocFlip is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
